About Pat
Pat became the mother of two sons, Nicholas and Will, through the miracle of adoption. In 1998, Nicholas was born and two years later, Will, his biological half-brother, (same birth mom and different birthfathers) arrived. Both boys have lived with Pat and her husband, Joe, since their birth. Read their adoption story.
Pat is a 1978 summa cum laude graduate of Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri and a 1990 honor graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Bowen School of Law. Pat has practiced law since 1990, mainly in the areas of employment law and civil rights defense. She currently works as General Counsel and Vice-President for Vestcom International, Inc., in Little Rock.
Pat's main passion is writing, and she hopes that her book, which tells the story of Nicholas, will help others who feel helpless, alone, and without hope after receiving a diagnosis of autism
