I suggest that you have him classified under autism spectrum disorder so that your child can receive services related to autism exclusively. It's not clear what his symptoms are but if they are mostly related to behaviorial, social and communication problems, request an IEP and address these areas. Include the use of ABA Therapy, Floortime, PECs, TEECH, Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy for any sensory and motor skill issues that your child has. Under Federal Law IDEA ACT 2204, they are required to provide an appropriate education. I hope this helps.
