Mom Thinks Son May be Autistic

Hello Pat. I live in Arizona and I am a mother of 2 boys ages 3 and a 24 months old. My youngest son is a bit different. Having them be so close in age makes it easier for me to compare them. And I have noticed some different things. When my youngest plays, he makes a high pitched sound. When going in circles, let's say he is turning right, his eyes are looking to his left.

All of his food needs to be at room temperature; if its slightly warm he will throw it as if it has burned him. He doesn't like to play with toys that make sounds. He has no problem with watching children videos, but he can't seem to sit still and watch. He will hit the screen with excitement and will not stop even if we tell him to. When I put the Christmas tree up this year for the first time. it was very difficult to keep him away from it. He tried repeatedly to grab all the ornaments closest to him and with me standing there telling him not to touch, removing him away from the tree no less than 15 times in less than a minute I just gave up and let him do what he wanted. He managed to remove all the shiny glittery spheres off the tree. I have a feeling he is autistic, but he hasn't been diagnosed yet. Our family is unisured at the time but I hope to have some soon.
