I'm a mother of an autistic son,but he was never diagnosed untill after he had a seziure. My older son is fine and big for his age. My youngest has autism, among other disorders. His doctor told us all his problems are caused by a chromosome deletion. My family always treated him differently than my older son even though it's not his fault that he has these afflictions.

Have you encountered anything like this? Everyone else falls in love with him. He has a mild form of autism. He's 12 years old. He still rocks and flap his hands and has eating issues. He is very picky eater. He's come along way in the six years since we found out about the autism. Before he was diagnosed, I never knew that much about autism.
